Did the government of China try to teach the Tibetan Yeti Chinese? 

The linguist Tim Pulju certainly thinks so. He claims to have unearthed documents noting a concentrated effort by the 10th Century rulers of China to educate the fabled Yeti, called “Neìge dà bá’i rén shw Jnggwo hwà” or “Preliminary Report of the Imperial Yeti Language Intercultural Understanding Project”.
